What the Radiologic Sciences Program Offers

The mission of the Radiologic Sciences program in the School of Health Related Professions at UMMC is to provide an educational experience in a scholarly environment that enables students to excel in technical knowledge, clinical competency, and the professional standards expected in the radiologic sciences.

The traditional bachelor’s degree in radiologic sciences is an entry-level program that provides students with the education and clinical experience necessary to become registered as a radiologic technologist.  The program is full-time and offered across five semesters.

The advanced standing bachelor’s degree in radiologic sciences is intended to enhance the quality and education of registered radiologic technologists.  The program is part-time and offered online across five semesters.
